Kodiak Bear



Bears are one of the most widely distributed terrestrial mammals on earth. They have at one time or another lived in the wild on all continents but Australia. However, agriculture, urbanization, overexploitation, and global warming have all lead to habitat loss for the bears. Below are the eight species of bears, six of which are listed as either endangered or vulnerable by the World Conservation Union.
